At the 5/31¡¯s Midwest University Lincoln Center Concert, GGU Chairman Dr. James Song Presented Certificates of appointment to two GGU Emeritus Professor Dr. Felix W. Ortiz and Ellen Young.
Dr. Felix W. Ortiz is the first minority Assistant Speaker of the New York State Assembly. He is also an alumnus of GGU. He received a doctorate in leadership degree from GGU in 2022. Ellen Young is the first Asian Acting Speaker of the New York State Assembly.
