The 3rd Asia Global Leadership Forum Concludes with Great Success
BANGKOK, THAILAND — From July 17 (Mon) to 21 (Fri), 2017, the 3rd Asia Global Leadership Forum was held at the Avana Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. Under the theme "Become a Leader Who Establishes the Kingdom of God," the forum brought together local Christian leaders from six Asian nations: Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and Indonesia.
The participants were deeply challenged and inspired by the keynote lectures on "The Vision of a Global Leader" delivered by Dr. James Song (President and Founder of Midwest University and IEA).
A particularly notable highlight was the evening revival services led by Rev. Young-min Pi (Senior Pastor of Kangnam Joongang Baptist Church). Delivering his sermons in English without the need for translation, Rev. Pi provided profound biblical insights that clarified complex doctrinal issues for many attendees. Participants unanimously testified that they were filled with the Holy Spirit through his messages and expressed their renewed commitment to achieving spiritual victory in their respective ministries.
The forum, organized by GGU (Global Gateway University) and GLI (Global Leadership Institute), serves as an extension of the university's mission to strengthen local pastors through sound theology and spiritual formation. This year¡¯s Bangkok forum was organized by Missionary Kyun-bae Kim (Director of GGU Myanmar) and was generously sponsored by Kangnam Joongang Baptist Church.
