Global Gateway University Holds 2018 Commencement Ceremony in St. Louis
ST. LOUIS, MO — On May 29, 2018, at 10:00 AM, the 2018 Commencement Ceremony of Global Gateway University (GGU) was successfully held at the main campus in St. Louis, Missouri.
The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Yu-kyung Ko, with faculty, families, and distinguished guests gathered to honor the academic milestones of the graduating class. The event began with an opening prayer by Professor Myung-hwan Oh, followed by an inspiring commencement message from Chairman Dr. James Song, who emphasized the university's vision for global leadership.
A notable highlight of the ceremony was the congratulatory address by Dr. Lindell F. Shumake, a GGU alumnus and member of the Missouri House of Representatives. Dr. Shumake shared words of encouragement rooted in his own experience in public service, urging the graduates to lead with integrity and purpose as they transition from students to influential members of society.
During this year¡¯s commencement, a total of 36 graduates were conferred their honorable degrees. Having completed GGU¡¯s rigorous academic and character-building programs, these graduates are now prepared to step into various professional and ministry fields as the leaders this era demands.
