GGU Myanmar Celebrates 2nd Graduation Commencement in Yangon
YANGON, MYANMAR — On February 3, 2018, Global Gateway University (GGU) Myanmar held its meaningful 2nd Graduation Ceremony at the Lotte Hotel (2nd Floor). The event was celebrated with great passion and vision, surrounded by the warm support of many distinguished guests.
GGU Myanmar continues its mission to discover young Burmese talent and equip them with the knowledge and character necessary for global leadership in the 21st century. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Hong-shik Shin and various local and international dignitaries, who offered congratulatory remarks to the next generation of leaders set to drive community and national development. The atmosphere was further enlivened by a special congratulatory performance by rising stars from Galaxy Star, adding a festive touch to the prestigious occasion.
In addition to the conferral of degrees, Global Gateway University demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by presenting significant donations during the event:
- Infrastructure Support: A fund was donated for the installation of air conditioning in the Central Library of Yangon University.
- Educational Support: A scholarship fund was delivered to the Mya-Korean Hope Forum to support children from multicultural families.
